Wax Vases
Nature, Art & Happiness
Working with the natural geometry developed in the beehive, these vases are the end product of the bee, literally. Made from Kelvinvalley beeswax, they celebrate the importance of bees as pollinators. Using a slip cast method, hot beeswax is poured into a damp plaster mould where it cools to form a hollow honeycomb. The vases can be combined to make simple yet visually sophisticated geometries as found in our natural environment.
